Introduction
Treasury and Accounts Services in Sindh is a service structure and organization dealing with the transaction of government funds allocated for all government departments in to the districts. On provincial basis, this organization was being controlled by Finance Department Government of Sindh, Karachi.
These offices in districts were called Treasury Offices but gradually converted and re-designated as District Accounts Offices except Karachi. There are 22 district accounts offices headed by District Accounts Officers. After conversion of these offices, new staff members were posted by A.G. Sindh. It is now being administratively and separately controlled by A.G Sindh and Finance Department.
